Following the centuries old family tradition and with reference to his personal experience, Gregorio De Gregorio has set up in 1980 his own company, that spreads out for surface of 270 hectares of the “Feudo Sirignano” bought in the 1730 by the Marquis Antonio De Gregorio.

The estate covers a vast area in the Monreale territory (Palermo-West Sicily) in “contrada Sirignano” at 230 m above sea level, situated among Alcamo, Calatafimi Segesta and the Belice Valley. The age-old oliveyards, with autochthonous “cultivars” of value: Cerasuola, Calabrese, Biancolilla, Nocellara del Belice and Oglialora are in the DOP Val di Mazara area while the vineyards, with native vines: Catarratto, Insolia, Grecanico, Nero d’avola and international vines: Chardonnay, Pinot, Merlot, Sirah, Cabernet, Muller Thurgau, are in the Alcamo DOC and Monreale DOC areas.

The Company, have always been distinguished by the quality of its products, favored by the excellent characteristics of the soil and climatic conditions peculiar to the Mediterranean area, respecting the tradition continues to refine production techniques in order to provide consumers with high quality olive oil and wines.

The Company is in organic agricolture by 1998.
