The secular olive trees, converted to organic agriculture since 1998, fall entirely in the DOP Val di Mazara, and extending alternately in hilly areas and in low-lying areas.
Cultivars – predominantly Cerasuola, Nocellara del Belice, Calabrese, Oglialora e Biancolilla – are typical of the area’s geographical membership and the olives are harvested between October and November when they reach full maturity.
